The fantastic year-round climate of the Canary Islands is almost certainly the main reason for tourists planning a trip. Gran Canaria gives a good illusion of being a tropical paradise even though its part of Europe. The variety of landscapes and microclimates on Gran Canaria is incredible, some call it a mini continent. There are deserts and dunes, lush almost tropical forests, volcanic craters, mountains and of course the beautiful coastlines and fantastic beaches. There is a lot of choice on Gran Canaria when it comes to apartments, hotels and accommodation, including attractive resorts like, Las Palmas, Maspalomas, Meloneras, Playa Amadores, Playa del Ingles, Playa Taurito, Puerto Mogan and San Agustin

Being just 79 miles off the coast of Africa Lanzarote is another sun drenched Canary island. Lanzarote enjoys a mild dry climate with average daytime temperatures ranging from about 21°C in January to 29°C in August. The most well known resorts on Lanzarote are Costa Teguise, Playa Blanca, Puerto Calero, Puerto del Carmen and Arrecife.
