The historic Massachusetts Freedom Trail takes you to 16 historical sights that played a huge part in the creation of America. You will see Boston on the Freedom Trail all the way from historic buildings to special places to memorials to statues and much more. You start on the trail at the National Park Visitors Center across from the historic Old State House. You can ask the Park Rangers to lead you on a guided tour or you can explore the trial for yourself, but do wear comfortable walking shoes, since you will be walking quite a bit while on the trail.

Every sports fan will take a special thrill and will beg to “take me out to the ball game” when it comes to seeing the world famous Boston Red Sox knock one out of the park. The classic Fenway Park is one of the best parks in the entire professional baseball circuit. Fresh off their record breaking victory that broke the “Cure of the Babe,” the Sox are back and better than ever!

The football fans do not have to worry either. Boston is home to the Super Bowl Winners of 2002, 204 and 2005- the New England Patriots. People of all age group would enjoy their exploits. Just check out their schedule to see when they are playing at the lovely Gillette Stadium, in the South of Boston.

If you hadn't seen Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market when in Boston, then you hadn't seen anything at all. These two are attractions enough in themselves to worth a visit, but you can find everything from fresh fruits, vegetables and great souvenirs of the city. Emeril Legasse, the professional chef, is the latest resident of this area and his live shows are a big draw.

Spend an afternoon exploring Boston Common, this great green space that is near and dear to the hearts of every Bostonian. Bring the kids to the park and enjoy playing on the many playgrounds, enjoy a pick up game of baseball, softball, basketball, or soccer.

The Public Garden that boasts of the world famous Swan Boats is another great green space in the city. Let your entire family experience a ride on these great boats. If you are a fan of E.B. White, you will especially relish the swan boats, as they appeared in his classic book, "Trumpet of the Swan".

While you are in Boston, be sure to visit the historic Massachusetts institute of higher education, Harvard. If you kids are interested in becoming an Ivy League whiz kid, bring them to the beautiful and historic grounds of Harvard.
