Having said this, do make your purchase only after due consideration to its purpose and the climate it is likely to be used in. These factors will to a largely influence the material, the size, design and other specifications of your backpack. If hiking is your style, then go for a backpack, that can store all your hiking treks. Make sure that the backpack can protect your gear in adverse environment conditions.
